The Government Industry Market Manager is responsible for leading Primavera’s go to market strategy within the US Federal, State and local government target segments.

Reporting to the Director of Product and Industry Marketing, the successful candidate will ensure our target markets are clearly defined, will develop messaging and product positioning, and create marketing programs that drive revenue. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for working closely with our sales channel to ensure Primavera executes its marketing objectives within the marketplace.

  • Responsible for developing industry messaging/product positioning to ensure sales are equipped for success:
    • Understand, define, develop, and communicate critical business issues/industry trends for target market and how Primavera solution support customers in the market context. Also follow how competitors are positioning their products for the target markets.
    • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Primavera product in order to effectively create and communicate all messaging to various audiences; such as sales, customers/prospects, etc.
    • Work closely with sales to pro-actively evaluate common sales issues and create appropriate tools to support global sales team. Assist sales in resolving issues and challenges regarding product functionality and positioning.

Experience with any or all of the following technologies is a plus: Oracle Databases, SQL, working in a heterogeneous network environment (Unix and Microsoft at a minimum). Some programming experience (Java preferred). Deploying web-based solutions (WebLogic, WebSphere and/or Tomcat experience preferred). Installing and supporting applications in a WAN and LAN environment. Specifying and developing interfaces between applications and enterprise database systems. Primavera Integration, API Primavera Expedition, XML, XSLT, HTML, Enterprise Reporting, Data Warehousing and/or Business Intelligence, SAP, Project Management knowledge (PMBOK/PMP) EOE M/F/D/V
