Experts from Amtrak and Boeing Present Best Practices in Project Controls
PHILADELPHIA, PA, April 21, 2006 – Industry-leader Primavera Systems, Inc., today announced that two of its key customers are presenting at the PMI College of Scheduling Conference, to be held April 23 – 26, 2006 in Orlando, Florida.
Boeing Commercial Airlines will provide an overview of its effort to increase engineering productivity by improving scheduling maturity. Boeing will examine the costs and benefits of this technique as well as lessons learned. This session takes place on Tuesday, April 25 at 2:45 p.m.
Amtrak will discuss project schedule efficiencies gained from deploying a web-based enterprise scheduling system. Amtrak will explain how real-time communication is leading to greater project efficiency and results. This session takes place on Wednesday, April 26 at 10:15 a.m.
In addition to customer presentations, Primavera will provide insight on how the company is using its innovative agile software development process to improve project management and collaboration.
