Product Description
EcoSys Financial Manager is a web application adding enterprise budgeting and financial management functionality to Primavera. It bridges organizational budgeting and financial management with project management and daily operations, bringing accountability and transparency to the flow of funds, and ensuring that organizational efforts match financial performance requirements.
Financial Manager contains a repository for all project-related financial transactions, whether for budgets, allocations, chargebacks, or actuals. Actuals can be entered manually, or pulled in from Primavera, Microsoft Project, or any outside financial system such as SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft.
Financial Manager's functionality encompasses three main areas and sets of features, described below:
Planning & Budgeting
- Annual or multi-year budget planning process and revisions
- True top down budgeting: distribute budget by funding source hierarchies to programs, projects, and operations
- Budgeting and forecasting by category (GL Accounts)
- Phase based budgeting
Actuals & Closeouts
- Financial forecasts and transactions
- Monthly and Yearly Closeouts
