P6 includes a powerful Enterprise Reporting database that enables users to create operational reports and business intelligence on any project or portfolio, using any third-party reporting and business intelligence tool. The Enterprise Reporting database provides: 1) an Operational Data Store (ODS) for day-to-day operational views and 2) a Project Star Schema for advanced business intelligence.

Solution Capabilities

Operational Views	An Operational Data Store (ODS) provides organizations with operational day-to-day views and reports in an easy-to-access manner.
Business Intelligence “Trending” Views	The project star schema enables organization to perform advanced business analytics on project and portfolio data. The historical “snapshot” captures periodic data required for trend analysis.
Support for 3rd Party Reporting Tools	The reporting databases are compatible with any third-party reporting and analytic tool, thereby supporting any reporting tool strategy and reducing the total cost of ownership and deployment.
Scheduled Data Refresh	The reporting databases may be configured to refresh daily and an on-demand feature ensures access to the most up-to-date project data.
Role Based Security	The role-based security model is utilized in the Operational Data Store, providing appropriate barriers between users and project-related data.
Project Archiving	The ODS data may be archived to provide auditors with mirror snapshots of project data at any given time.
